Basic Commands
Once you’ve loaded into the server you can use /m or /menu in chat to open up the main server menu. This will give you access to several of the basic commands via a GUI interface. This way you won’t need to remember as many commands. Many of the menu items not only include the command, but give you a player selection screen for things like trading and trusting. The menu may change over time, and there may be more added – but for now – the main server menu contains most of the basics.
You are given access to one home that you can teleport to. You can use the /m or /menu command and shift-click the home icon to set your home. You can also use /sethome in the chat. Then you can use the same icon in the menu, or the /home command to teleport to the home location you set. Be aware, teleporting requires you to be perfectly still for 3 seconds after executing the home command. If you take damage, or move, during this time – the teleportation will be canceled, and you’ll need to execute the command again.
NOTE: With the addition of the /rewards command – long-term players can now have multiple homes. You can set multiple homes by using /sethome NAME and you can go to a custom-named home with /home NAME – you can also see a list of all your available homes with the /homes command. New players will still only have access to a single home until they reach the needed hours to unlock multiples.
If you’d like to communicate in the chat privately you can use the message command. To do so use the following command syntax: /msg – You can also use /r to reply to the last message you received. Be aware, that if you use /r and then someone else sends you a new message, it may respond to that one instead. Also, be mindful that the chat-filter checks private messages; all messages are logged and available for moderator review.
