I don’t give out updates nearly enough – but I think it’s about time for one!
The 1.20.2 update, finally!
It took a while – but the server software was finally updated to 1.20.2 and the server is now based on that update. This means finding diamonds (Especially on the new resource worlds) should be far easier, and people with lesser connections should load in much faster, and have a better overall experience. You can read more about that update on the Mojang update post. I’m not done with software updates yet though, looking at paid software to enhance performance (Especially with combat).

First, I’d like to welcome any new players to the server. Hopefully, if you’ve found this post, you’re looking to be more involved in the community, and looking forward to the future of the server. Well, let me go over a few things on the horizon. The biggest thing I’m looking at currently is the update to version 1.20.2 of Minecraft. Unfortunately, Mojang has gone into a pre-release version just as I finish launching the server – but that’s how it usually works. We will cover that, as well as some quality-of-life additions that will be coming to the server!

How To Join
We are currently a Java Edition only server. We may consider bedrock in the future – but all testing to this point results in a subpar experience when adding bedrock version cross-play. Right now, you will need to use Java edition to join. If you have minecraft on PC – Check the instructions below!

Launching The Java Edition
Once you open the minecraft launcher (Legacy or New) – you will see the option to select minecraft java edition on the left side of the launcher.
Adding A New Server
Click the multiplayer button on the main menu, and then click the add new server button. Enter a name and our server IP address: play.minecraft.country
Joining The Server
Once we’re in your server list you will have easy access to select the server or quick join by double clicking our listing. We hope you will enjoy the server!
